Jessica Simpson is unlucky in love - after having her courtship and first year of her marriage to fellow pop star Nick Lachey documented on screen in the reality television show 'Newlyweds', it didn't take long before the cameras stopped rolling and the marriage was over.

Then she hooked up with rocker John Mayer and everything seemed rosy and cheery...until John dumped her for being too fat!

The couple have since got back together and split up more times than can seem imaginable, but now Jessica could be the fall-girl for the bust-up in the relationship between 'American Idol' success story Carrie Underwood and Dallas Cowboys American football star Tony Romo.

The Cowboys quarterback reportedly told the country singer that they should 'take a break' during the grid iron season...but that didn't stop him inviting Texan pin-up Simpson down south to party with him.

Does this mean that Jess and John are finally over for good?
