Actress / singer Lindsay Lohan toppled 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria in the 2007 poll of Maxim magazine's list of the 100 hottest women in the world.

Party pals Britney Spears and Paris Hilton failed to make the cut.

Lohan took out the magazine's eighth annual "Hot 100" list for the first time after debuting at No. 2 on the list in 2005 and slipping to No. 3 last year.

Longoria, who held the crown for the past two years, slipped to ninth place on the list, which consists of women from film, television, music, sports and fashion.

Maxim magazine's 2007 Hot 100 top ten:

There is nothing wrong with Lindsay Lohan. We can all be critical but i bet you if you saw her in person you would be blown away! Alba is also hot but bear in mind also, these polls are usually just whos popular now anyway.

i'd love to know the criteria to make it into the top 10 as Lindsay lohan does not even come close to some of the real beautys of the world eg. Angelina Jolie, Kylie Minogue, i could go on and on. She wouldnt even crack my top 100.

What the hell!?!?!?!? Surely there are much hotter women than idiotic fools who are only there because they are famous. What is hot about talentless, celery-eating, drug-taking, stupid twits who have no place as role models in society, but are anyway? Try looking amongst all the great sheilas who AREN'T famous, and you will find the Hot 100 Women.

What is going on, Amanda Vandstone should be No. 1. If she was in the competition she (for real) there is no doubt that she would win, she would have eaten all of the other competitors.
