Pussycat Doll snubs John Mayer

Nicole Scherzinger didn't realise John Mayer was trying to flirt with her.

The Pussycat Dolls star - who has dated Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton for the past year - had no idea the 'Gravity' singer was trying to seduce her when they met in a nightclub last April.

She said: "I ran into him in a local place in Los Angeles. I don't know if he was trying to serenade me, but we were just having a normal conversation. I think we were having a chat about music. I don't know if he was trying to flirt, but I guess I didn't catch one¦"

Nicole has confessed friends often get frustrated with her inattentive behaviour and failure to observe what is going on. The 30-year-old beauty explained: "I'm a lot different to what people might think. I don't notice stuff. Sometimes my friends are like, 'Don't you realise?' And I'm like, 'No!' I'm kind of naive."

Meanwhile Nicole says she is very loved-up with "romantic" Lewis, 24.

She said: "He actually surprised me in Toronto a little while ago. I didn't think I'd get to see him at that time, because he had his first Grand Prix in Australia and I know how crazy his schedule is, and mine is too. I got on stage in Toronto, I looked down, and I just about had a heart attack and I stopped singing. He was right there in front of me and it just ripped me up so much and meant so much to me. He is pretty romantic. He's a good guy."
