Madonna has hired a 'cleansing expert' to help her throw away any clothes that remind her of Guy Ritchie.

The singer has reportedly hired the expert to help 'de-clutter' her life and remove any association with Guy following the decree nisi - the first part of their divorce - being awarded in London last Friday.

A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Madonna wants a clean start. She is spending thousands of pounds on a specialist in New York to help her banish any items of clothing which may remind her of her ex.

"The cleanser has several techniques to invoke feelings in their customers, and base decisions on what should go and what should stay on these reactions."

Earlier this week, Madonna spoke about the end of her nearly eight-year marriage to the British 'RocknRolla' director.

The 50-year-old star revealed she is throwing herself into her current 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour to take her mind off her personal troubles.

She said: "I'm sad about my personal life, but I feel very blessed and very lucky that I have the opportunity to do what I do in my professional life.

"It would be horrible if I was just thinking about getting a divorce and had nothing to do."
