Has Nicole let her old party ways go?

It's all about giving back for celebrities at the moment with everyone from Ange to Madonna clambering for space on the goodwill bandwagon.

The last couple to grab a seat are new parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

The pair hosted UNICEF's annual Light The Night Event on Saturday night and kicked off the silly season by switching on the lights in Beverley Hills.

This isn't the only charity venture for the previous party pair - they also set up the Richie Madden Children's Foundation earlier this year.

Meanwhile across town, Nicole's BF Paris, was assuring anyone would would listen that she and Benji are still in love, and that there is nothing going on between her and Stavros. Ah huh.

God god Famous. The "party girl" is an adult woman with a child and a relationship. Stop bagging anyone who stops carrying on like a silly little kid. I know it sells the magazine, but the inference that if Nicole is doing some good in the world, she must be boring?? It's not a good example.

Im with you candy. I think unlike paris nicole has grown up alot. Shes with the father of her child and you rarely ever see her in magazines. Shes awesome

Honestly, I do think that Nicole is starting to show some maturity. I wouldn't count on it lasting, what with celebrities these days -rolls eyes- but who cares? let them make their own mistakes and come backs.
