Emma Watson the face of Chanel Mademoiselle?

Is Emma Watson set to replace Keira Knightley as the face of Chanel Mademoiselle? The gossip sites say so, but this story's got the whiff of something not quite right.

According to online reports, Harry Potter star Emma Watson has inked a two-year deal with Chanel worth $AUD6.3 million to appear as the face of the label's youth fragrance Mademoiselle.

The deal would see the 18-year-old star follow in the footsteps of Kate Moss, who fronted the fragrance when it was launched in 2001.

However a rep for Chanel has apparently told E! News that the widely reported deal is simply "just a rumor".

NO... she is not old!!!she is just only 23 years old g what is happing with the youth today.next time they will probably use a 10 year old kid to replace kate moss.so stupid!!!lol

It isn't that Keira is too old - it is likelyto do with the unbecoming arrogance that she displays. Mademoiselle is about being fresh and approachable, so this is why Emma Watson is perfect for the 'role'. It will also give Chanel access to an even younger market that they usually target.

Keira is not too old and boring but it helps to keep refreshing an image to create more sales.But I do think Keira is too thin and Emma has a more healthy appearance which is a good thing to have associated to a product! Unlike Gucci By Gucci their ads models are skeletal!! Yuk
