If you’re curvy, not waif-like as current fashions dictate, you may be smarter and have smarter children. A new study of 16,000 women and girls found that the more voluptuous among them did better on cognitive tests, as did their offspring. The research, published in the journal of Evolution and Human Behavior, says this may have something to do with the greater amount of fatty acids of the healthy omega-3 variety that curvy women and girls carried. More research is needed but, meanwhile, it’s another good reason to love your shape.
