Teaching your dog or cat a few simple tricks is fun and entertaining for both you and your pet. It is great for bonding and it’ll impress the neighbours. Once you’ve mastered the training basics - come, sit and stay - it’s time for some fun! The sky’s the limit when it comes to training, and it’s not as hard as you think!

Giving a child a themed room will give them a cosy and confident feeling, and they can be sure to have a really individual space to hang out with their mates! Tara will give this young boy a cowboy themed bedroom that will let his imagination really run wild! All Tara’s projects will be easy enough for the kids to help produce!

We all know how kids love to act like adults, and we’ve got a big kid who understands them well - so Rob is going to build a kids kitchen that will give your little folk hours of fun. The majority of the timber for the project will come from off-cuts to keep costs down, but the years of enjoyment and education for the little ones will be priceless.

Take control of your hedges this weekend and stop them from getting spindly and straggly.

Ginger used to be an premium exotic spice in Europe, this is why gingerbread men have always been associated with the festive season. Nowadays ginger is plentiful and inexpensive, so why not make it festive all year round!? They’re easy to make and the whole family can join in – making, baking, and decorating.

Dr Harry is in Brisbane visiting a wise old cocky named ‘George.’ This cockatoo has been in owner Peter’s family for more than 45 years, ever since Peter was a child. After spending time with relatives, George moved back to live with Peter and quickly laid some eggs! George was a girl the whole time! The problem, though, is that George’s personality has changed and she’s been pecking at her feathers. Dr Harry’s got just the right tricks to help Peter and his family friend.
