Ingredients
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 large apples (preferably fuji)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp raw sugar
  • 300ml cream
  • 80g dark chocolate
1 Cut puff pastry into 4 equal squares. Halve and core the apples, then very finely slice each half, ensuring the half stays together as 1 piece. Brush the pastry with the egg, then lay a sliced apple half on top of each and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes.
2 Meanwhile, whip the cream into soft peaks. Grate the chocolate over the top and fold in.
3 To serve, spoon the choc-chip cream on the side of each tart.
