STEP 1 Draw animals with four (equal) legs on your cardboard.

STEP 2 Cut out shapes.

STEP 3 Use markers to add faces (eyes, noses, etc) to your animals.

Ballpoint pens; Embroidery thread; Tape; Sequins; Beads; Craft glue; Scissors

Here’s how

STEP 1 To make tail for pen, tie a knot in a piece of thread about 6.5cm long.

STEP 2 Add beads and sequins to tail.

STEP 3 Tape tail to end of pen.

STEP 4 Cut one metre of thread. Tape end near tail; wind thread tightly around pen. While wrapping, slide beads or sequins onto thread. Dot occasionally with glue to keep it all in place.

STEP 5 Once the entire pen is covered, trim the loose end of the thread and glue it to the pen.
