Francesca Heymann is the new Craft Editor for Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Here's her first ever blog:

Over the last couple of days, I've been with Dora (our Decorating Editor) and Chantal (our Decorating Assistant), observing how they put together the craft shoot for the Easter issue.

Having recently been appointed the position of Craft Editor it was an interesting and inspiring experience, It's amazing just how much thought and care goes into bringing all our readers the most beautiful and gorgeous images we can. We hope to excite their senses and enthuse them into using their various talents to achieve something special for their home and lifestyle.

I for one will be having a go at the cute effortless projects we photographed, and hopefully make a unique Easter celebration for my children and family this year.
