Retreat to the shed

Mar 12 03:34pm

If you don't like the look of a shed in the back garden, then look again. This is a pretty, cosy, backyard retreat with heaps of storage. For decoration, the shed design features an attractive bargeboard, a rustic weathervane, and sign made of silver souvenirs. And for the weathervane, we've put together a photo gallery so you can watch Tara put it together (see below).

Nice idea, however it looks like a spider and snake house. Too many little hidy holes for creepy crawleys to live in.

In my bakyard we are always killing red backs and sticky web spiders.

Redbacks like concrete jungles. You must live in new development. You know, spiders paly a vital role on this earth. Huntmen kill cockroach. I never kill spiders.

nms3kmw,

Redbacks live in concrete jungles???? You need to come out to the sticks they are everywhere......MUCH MORE so than your concrete jungles. And Just spray the place for spiders no big deal

The instructions for the shed are good, but what about providing material sizes ?

Great idea. However - what can u do to pretty up the standard silver corrugated shed? Most people have the prefab sheds - be nice to know what to do to pretty them up - rather than go to all the trouble of making one from scratch..
