Three-in-one chair, rocker and desk

Dec 19 03:19pm

If you're short of space, building this novel three-in-one project for your kids should help free up a bit of room. It's a rocking horse, that when turned upside down becomes a desk. As if that weren't handy enough, when it's turned on its head, this piece of furniture transforms into a highchair (as long as there is no place for your child to stem their legs and tip the chair backwards).

It might take a few hours to make, but your children will get many more hours of enjoyment out of it.

Highchair - playing it safe: The most important message when using highchairs is not to leave children unattended in them. They should be able to sit unaided, and the chair must be placed on a surface where it won't slip.

Keep the chair away from windows, doors, appliances, cords and steps. Don't put the chair in a position where your child can stem their feet against a surface (including a rail under the tabletop), to make it topple backwards.

Also, don't let your children stand on the seat or try to climb out of the chair.

Here's how to make it:
