Getting your message across

Jan 25 12:11pm

Try this innovative new idea for getting your message across to friends and family - it'll save you leaving scraps of paper around the house, and will ensure those reminders can't be missed!

When it comes to keeping track of your children's movements, event dates or jotting down shopping lists, borrow an idea from the shops.

Forgo a stock-standard cork or blackboard for a mirror or pane of glass, and make your notations using poster pens that wipe clean with the mere swipe of a damp cloth.

Selling your car?

Take the idea beyond messages, and use a Liquid Chalk marker to scrawl a ‘For Sale' sign on your windscreen.

This type of marker is strong enough to withstand even the heaviest downpour. Ideal for all types of outdoor signage - think garage sale notices - these markers are available in white and various bright colours such as yellow, blue, pink, green and violet.

Once you've sold the car, wipe off your sign-writing efforts with a soft, dry cloth.

I used liquid chalk once and it required more than a soft dry cloth to remove.

Write hard to remember multiplication sums on the bathroom mirror (one at a time). Two minutes of staring at it each day, while brushing teeth, might just help.
