Looks great but would appear too tall for most modern homes - kids would never be able to sit up in bed !!!

You should read the plans before you comment and make yourself look like a goose. There are two different measurements for two different ceiling heights, one of which includes "modern ceiling height".

Here's a much sturdier bunk plan compared to this one. It's great for a child and adolesent.
