Diseases - Leaf blight

Leaf blight

A number of different fungal diseases cause leaf blight on various plants.

They show as yellow-brown spots on the leaves. If the disease spreads, leaves will stop growing and drop off.

Blight spreads in warm, moist conditions.

Control:
Take off and burn the infected leaves and spray the plants with an approved chemical. Rotate vegetable crops to keep the problem down.
