Diseases - Leaf Curl

hero

Leaf curl of peaches and nectarines, apricots and almonds is an unsightly fungal disease which causes the leaves to wrinkle, blister and thicken soon after they appear.

Leaves may turn various shades of yellow and pink and fall prematurely. The tree can be severely weakened and bear a poor crop

Control:
Sprayed early in the season just before or at budswell will give good control. Spraying after the buds have burst is ineffective and may actually burn young leaves.
