Gather your supplies
2 x A4 sheets 220gsm white paper
Metal ruler
Art knife
A4 sheet 100gsm sky-blue paper
62cm x 1mm white satin ribbon
Sticky tape
Quick-drying craft glue
17cm x 10mm white satin ribbon
Large blue crystal bead
2 small clear crystal beads
Computer and colour printer or pen and ink

Here's how

1. Cut down 1 white A4 sheet to 13.5 x 28cm. Mark fold lines at 7cm intervals and score with a knitting needle. Fold the paper accordion-style into 4 panels (each panel is 7 x 13.5cm).

2. Using the sky blue paper cut out 2 panels for the front and back 13 x 6.5cm each. Attach a 45cm length of 1 mm ribbon vertically across the centre of the front using small pieces of tape, making sure the lenghts are even when wrapped around to the front bottom edge for tying.

3. Glue blue panels to front (over ribbon) and back panels of folded white card leaving a white 2.5mm border. Use clear quick-drying craft glue.

4. Cut 10mm-wide white satin ribbon 17cm long and 17cm wrap horizontally across the front panel so that it lies about 1.5cm from the bottom edge. Tape at the back. Thread a large decorative blue bead, flanked on either side by a smaller clear crystal bead, onto a 17cm length of 1 mm white satin ribbon.Wrap around the front panel over the wider ribbon and tape at the back. Align the beads in the centre. Secure with a dab of glue if desired.

5. Print or hand write the invitation wording in matching dark blue ink, on the other sheet of white paper, allowing enough space between each section of type to create 4 even panels of 13 x 6.7cm. Cut into 4 panels measuring 13 x 6,7cm each. Glue on each inside panel in the correct order. Fold the invitation into the accordion shape. Wrap white ribbon around and tie at the bottom with a neat bow.
