Breast cancer was the last thing on Rosalie
Quinlan’s mind in 2006. The mum of three was busy running her quilting business
when she was diagnosed. Now, with her treatment completed, Rosalie has designed
a special quilt for Better Homes and Gardens that will bring inspiration to all
those who have been touched in some way by breast cancer – sufferers, survivors
and their families.
To raise money for Cancer Council Australia’s
Pink Ribbon Day, Better Homes and Gardens is auctioning off the very special
Pink pinwheels quilt Rosalie has designed. Created using donated materials
(including the time of quilter Melinda Gibson) this quilt really does wrap with
love.
We are pleased to say that the sale of this quilt raised $710. Thank you to everyone who bid.
