Unblock A Drain

Dec 05 02:55pm

Plungers aren't too grotty ... and plumbers are expensive.

Hair or bits of soap can gum up a stopper.

To remove some types of stoppers you just turn and lift.

Then use a plunger to suck up any debris.

If the basin or bath has an overflow outlet, plug this up first and be sure the plunger seals tightly over the drain outlet.

found the unblock drain interesting but i have a drain that repeatedly gets blocked with next doors tree roots and have to get the council in at a cost of nearly 150.00 each time would love to find out how to get rid of this problem short of asking next door to get rid of all his trees.

there are drain contractors that can put a linning in you drain to stop roots getting in your drain .
not cheap but cheaper than digging up the only other way to fix your problem
