There are a couple of things you can easily check and fix yourself and others that are best left to the experts.

Do It Yourself

Oil - Park your car on a flat surface. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it with paper towel. Put it back in the hole fully and pull it out again to see the oil level. If it's reading low, top up your oil using the correct grade as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

Windscreen washer water and fluid - You'll find a clear plastic bottle with a windscreen symbol on it. Simply pull off the cap and fill with clean water. You can also add a windscreen washer fluid which gives it an even better clean.

Leave it to the experts

    * Radiator coolant
    * Battery
    * Automatic transmission and power steering fluids

Please note: The information above serves as a guide only. Always consult a qualified service technician for all of your car needs.
