Why is it so difficult to believe that women could be better drivers than men? Or is this belief just a thing of the past? So I jumped onto my trusty friend, YouTube, to look for some answers. It seems that this is the place where people openly share their views on this topic via their videos.
I typed in "women drivers" and there were 4,760 videos with this in the title. I then typed "men drivers" and there were only 1,640 videos. Less than half!! Not surprising that most of the videos were having a go at the opposite sex for the lack of driving ability. But not satisfied with this result, I typed in "female drivers" and "male drivers". Sure enough, there were 4 times more videos for the females than the males: 2,570 vs 587 once again dedicated to mocking the opposite sex.
It appears that people still get a chuckle out of gender differences behind the wheel, particularly when it comes to unfortunate scenarios when a female is in the driver's seat. So, just to buck the trend, I've dug out a funny video of a parking manoeuvre performed by, you guessed it, a male.
